Traditional Braces

In addition to improving the way you look and feel, braces promote a healthier smile.

Aligners

Straighten your teeth without wires and brackets by opting for clear aligners.

Braces? Yes, please!

Correcting a crooked and/or overcrowded mouth notwithstanding, braces also help decrease cavities, gum disease & unhealthy wear of teeth. An gorgeous smile and healthier mouth? This alone makes braces a perfect fit for any age.

Early Treatment

Early evaluation provides timely detection of problems and a greater opportunity for more effective treatment. Complete correction of the teeth can often be more difficult once full eruption of the permanent teeth has occurred. Early treatment takes advantage of bones and muscles that are still growing to optimize jaw & bite alignment. Creating room for crowded teeth, correction of crossbites, overbites & underbites and reducing the need for tooth removal are just some advantages of early treatment. The American Association of Orthodontics recommends your child see an orthodontist as early as age 7 to anticipate potential complications. If your child is seven or older, we will be happy to schedule a complimentary orthodontic screening.

Braces for Children & Teens

The most obvious reason for choosing braces is to straighten misaligned teeth, correct jaw problems and achieve a healthy smile. And while braces, many years ago, were considered awkward, today they are considered (dare we say!) cool! “Everybody’s doing it!” In addition to choosing what type of braces are best for you (metal, ceramic, et cetera), you can also customize your band colors to show off your team’s colors, an upcoming holiday or match an outfit!

Braces for Adults

While our office is tailored to the (ahem) younger generation, our Doctors’ knowledge supersedes age. According to the American Association of Orthodontics, one in five orthodontic patients is over the age of 21. So, you’ll be in good company! Adults understand the importance of a confident and healthy smile. We would be honored to help you achieve the goal. You deserve it!

Let's Get Started

Once you’ve decided to proceed with treatment, records are made to determine the best course of action. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, photos of the patient’s face and teeth and X-rays. We then use this information to develop a custom treatment plan that addresses the unique needs of each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of the teeth as they straighten.

After our orthodontist has evaluated the diagnostic records we will explain the plan moving forward in detail, including the cost for your specific case. A small percentage of cases require consultations with additional doctors or physicians before proceeding with braces. If this is necessary, that plan will be explained and discussed at this time. A follow-up visit will be scheduled and the strategy moving forward will be confirmed.
