Kevin D. Tesseneer, DMD, MS graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2003, and was honored with the Dean’s Scholarship Award and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award of Excellence in his graduating class. For more than two years, he practiced family dentistry in his home town of Belmont, Mississippi. Shortly after, he sought additional training at the University of Texas Health and Science Center in Houston, Texas on a mission to help create healthy smiles. Dr. Tesseneer received a Masters of Science and Speciality Certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2007, and has been serving our patients here at APDAO ever since! He believes that braces can be one of the biggest and greatest decisions one can make for themselves and his passion shows. He strives for a fun and comfortable experience while in treatment and hopes to make a positive difference in his patients’ lives. Dr. Tesseneer is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Huntsville/Madison Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontics, and is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

When not at APDAO, you will usually find Dr. Tesseneer spending most of his time with his wife, Jenny, and their two kids, Bryson and Emilie. While not cheering on their beloved Ole Miss teams, the family enjoys their own sporting events. Dr. Tesseneer maintains a healthy and active lifestyle by competing in triathlons and other endurance sports including Ironman events. Yes, he’s APDAO’s own Ironman! His family also loves to travel and see new places. He recently received his ASA sailing license, and is a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison, Alabama.
